This film is the one that made me sink in the gay-themed films, and since then I started to watch at least one gay-themed film per week. Every weekend came back from university, I would buy some snacks from a nearby supermarket and select a film that I downloaded from the oacfans and qaf forums. And that's one of the best times in my life.
(maybe some of you know these two forums if you like to surf the internet at that decade, and of course later on there is another forum named soapone which you can download lots of diversed gay-themed plots in soap operas)这部电影是一部把我引领进同性主题电影的启蒙作，从那时候开始我就差不多以每周看一部的频率观看同影。每个周末从学校回家，去家附近的小超市买点小零食，选择一部从oac和qaf论坛下载的电影，那简直就是生命中最美好的一段时光呐！
It's about 2005 or 2006, I can't remember that clearly. I downloaded a film named Yossi and Jagger, the director named Eytan Fox. I can still remember why I chose to download this film. I have a great interest in Soldiers and Uniforms, and the film is from Isreal, a wholly unfamiliar country I barely know. And of course, the leading actor "Yehuda Levi" who casts Jagger on the post clicked my mind. So I downloaded it, watched it and loved it.
Since I watched this film, I started to search for more infos about this film and these actors, and I found some information tips from tieba and added a QQ chat group in which those folks all love this film. In that chat group, I made 4 friends and discussed lots of stuff. Even we five are living in 5 different places.
I seldomly fell for one of the guys who named himself "临江仙" in his college, and that's the first time I felt my heart broken for a guy. It might be a friendly joke from him, but that's a bitter-sweet mark helped me in some way. After years the QQ group was dismissed and he disappeared and disconnected with us.
The other one is named "泽源", who is the youngest among us. I can't clearly remember why he left the small group of 4. But seeing you are having a happy life in the UK and I'm sure that's your significant one besides you travelling all around. I'm so happy for you, cheers mate! You're the happiest among us four XD
Well the last two of them, they are York and Xixi. The small chat group shrank into 3 of us, and each of us had a different path till now. We shared our work complaints and emotional status with each other. Backed each other when one of us felt a bit down. I'm sure our steady friendship will march on.
Ahha, back to the song! While Jagger said his little dream is that "he just wanted a queen-sized bed with Yossi while they rent a room". At the end of the film, even Jagger's family doesn't know which song is their son's best. Yossi told them: It's Bo, Bo from Rita. He's smiling and hurting.
