提起打雷姐的音乐，最著名的莫非那首《Young and Beautiful》，但是这首《Video Games》同样也是打雷姐较为有名的歌曲之一。打雷姐的曲风偏向小众、另类音乐，所以整体来看不像一些欧美的流行天王天后在国内广为人所熟知，但常年混迹欧美圈的人绝对是无法绕过这位优秀的唱作歌手的。
在曲子方面，《Video Games》与《Young and Beautiful》类似，都是打雷一贯的曲风——舒缓、悠扬，但前者没有后者在副歌到来时的那种宏伟的感觉，更多的是对心爱之人的喃喃细语。在“Only worth living if somebody is loving you”这句中，“somebody”和“is”之间产生了一个小小的停顿，个人觉得真的是太棒了，缓缓积累的情感在到达顶点的瞬间不是崩溃，而是以另一种方式再缓缓地流淌出……听起来真的很舒服。（个人小观点，勿喷，欢迎交流）
在作词方面，打雷姐被认为是美国最棒的作词家之一，这从她的音乐中可见一斑，而这首《Video Games》当然也不例外。主歌中的啤酒、连衣裙、香水等常见的物品，以及玩游戏、唱歌、亲吻等生动的画面，勾勒出与喜欢的人在一起的点点滴滴日常。副歌中的“Heaven is a place on earth with you”(有你在，这地球便是天堂)，还有“They say that the world was built for two, only worth living if somebody is loving you”（人们说这个世界属于相爱的人，而人们也为爱而生），是我最喜欢的两句歌词，其无不体现出了对心爱之人的爱意。
总之，打雷的音乐虽然小众，但是我想应该也会有很多人从中找到属于自己的一部分吧~~

感謝分享，聽起來有點悲傷，之前好像有聽過 舒缓却又带着点小悲伤，这歌一转眼都快十年了吧 开口跪诶！有点肃穆的感觉 打雷姐的经典歌，在我歌单好多年了 都是老歌了 前奏一响起 就唤醒记忆 好听，还以为是一首原来有好多歌曲，谢谢分享 :lolVideogame这种古早歌曲早就听腻了，NFR和蓝扶手才是现在的爱:handshake 舒缓的音乐，做入眠曲应该不错。 为火葬场天后打Call! 听起来很舒服的歌曲，感觉楼主分享。 打雷姐我的本命！{:6_169:}爱她的嗓音，她的歌都超级喜欢 這首歌真的是轉眼間就10年過去了 經典啊!剛剛再次打開他的MV 看到兩隻大腦斧 好想rua (重點誤 打雷姐的歌真的很棒。转眼间10年过去了。依旧是经典，永不过时。 0-0 也是一首经典系列了 每当这时就要感叹过这么久了都 看到打雷姐就来啦，听她的个一直从高中到现在 只听了打雷的最近三张专，老专找时间下来听听 是lana del rey 早期的歌也， 现在听也跟新专集部违和！ 打雷真是超级有个人风格的一位歌手（诗人），感觉能把歌词写的这么唯美而有深度的也只有她了 是打雷姐惹 高中经常听她的歌
